College isn’t just for students 17 and older. AACC’s Kindermusk classes serve students as young as 18 months old. Even preschoolers can get in on the learning through AACC’s Kids in College summer camps and AACC’s Child Development Center. But for those in kindergarten through high school, options abound.

Kids in College 
Outstanding summer camps for all children as well as evening and weekend courses throughout the school year.

EXPLORE and Middle School Scholars
Anne Arundel County Public School students identified as Gifted and Talented can enroll in EXPLORE (K- grade 5) or Middle School Scholars (grades 6-8) summer camps and courses held evenings and weekends throughout the school year.

Anne Arundel County public high school students 16 and older can earn college credit that may be transferred to a four-year college or university and pay only 50% of the tuition.

Gifted and Talented Program 
The Gifted and Talented program is the only program in which students under age 16 may be eligible to take college credit courses.

Dual Credit
Students can earn both high school and college credit for approved courses which are either not available at their current high school or for which they do not have access.

Early Admission
High school students with a 3.0 GPA at the end of their junior year may apply for early admission to AACC with permission from their high school.

Program Pathways
Anne Arundel County high school students can earn college credits for selected courses they take in high school.

Drivers Education
Open to all students 15 years and 9 months or older.

Special Events
Visit AACC’s Events page often for special events specifically of interest to families and K-12 youth, including outdoor movies, science night, Lego® competitions, Turkey Trot 5K run, astronomy night, performing arts and more.
